Food. Or Lack Thereof.

the crafting side of my life has begun to take over as i get ready for a massive craft show in july. and by massive, i mean a 3 day show. that’s close to 30 hours of selling my stuff…oof.

and with the focus on crafting, the food has sort of, well…slipped off the radar. much to the hubsters chagrin, might i add. we have been eating easy meals that don’t involved much of anything. time has been spent on books, not cooking. and most certainly not on anything resembling a trip to the grocery store.

here’s what we i ate this weekend:

Wishing you much success at your July event. Will try your black bean burgers with corn on the cob and baked sweet potatoes; that appeals to me. If you are wondering: I eat almost as much lettuce as you. Eventually it disappears from my mouth.

    Cool, what are you selling?

Things always ebb & flow, at least in my world. Sometimes the cooking binges come and go, but white rice & tamari for lunch, really? is it that filling? But I have to say that Cascadian Farms does make the best raisin bran!!!

I have been MIA from the web for a while, busy with life and everyone else’s issues. (like when my youngest ran away from home tonight, he came back around 10pm) Oh the drama!

I need some me time, maybe tomorrow I keep saying…

@britt – i haven’t been eating as much lettuce, sadly. think i got a bit sick of it…

@kristen – i’ll be selling my handbound books, notepads and recycled notebooks. totally agree with the ebb and flow. right now, we’re ebbing. it’s craft show season!

i think that rice and tamari is filling and totally satisfying (yes, i know i’m weird). and it’s my lazy meal. i make it when i don’t have time, energy or the patience to actually cook.

i hope things calm down for you a little bit and that you get (or MAKE) some you time. it’s important for everyone’s sanity, especially yours.
